The two-week course will be held at LaSalle, University Ramon Llull, Barcelona campus.
A quiet revolution is taking place around us! The fashion industry, a sector in constant expansion, is becoming one of the most innovative, dynamic, fascinating and competitive in the world. When we look at top 100 brands ranking by Interbrand, we see more and more fashion brands every year!
The course gives an understanding of fashion design, current and emerging branding strategies and creative innovation practices in the different sectors of the industry. Based on case studies of famous fashion enterprises, contents such as the branding and marketing of the fashion product, retailing, design, innovation, eco fashion and sustainability, CSR in fashion etc. will be discussed.
The focus of the first week will be on obtaining insights into the history and recent industry practices. In addition to short-lectures and comprehensive case studies on fashion design, branding and innovation, guest speakers from the industry will be invited. The focus of the second week will be on developing a creative campaign (via using innovative tools like designstorms, method cards, moodboards, mindmaps, storyboards, etc.) for a fashion brand by teams. At the end of the course, each team will present its own campaign.
