Intensive English
ORGANISATION
The three-week course will be held in Summer School Almere, organized by CAH Almere University of applied Sciences.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Intensive English language course focuses on the following skills, reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar. Students will participate in an international study environment by means of lessons, assignments, practical assignments, and excursions. Cooperating with international students and the international study environment at Summer School Almere creates the maximum scope for improvement of English language skills. The course provides excellent support for students who need a bit of extra help with the English language.

TARGET GROUP
- The course is designed for International students who are accepted under condition for a course at Dronten University of Applied Sciences concerning their English level.
- Internationals students who seek extra support to improve their English language skills.
COURSE AIM
The aim of the course is to provide an intensive English course in which students get the extra support they need to improve their English language skills.
COURSE METHODOLOGY
Class sessions will be primarily focussed on all language skills; reading, listening, speaking as well as grammar and writing. Student participation in class discussions is an integral part of the class and it is therefore expected of every student. Students are encouraged to ask questions, actively participate in discussions, and comment on reading and lecture materials. Moreover they are expected to have completed all assigned readings prior to each class in order to actively participate in class discussion.
