Leadership in action!
The one-week course will be held in Summer School Almere and Port Lelystad, organized by Steve Clemens, Windesheim, and the Leadership Team at Team Heiner
This course provides synergy between college-based courses on leadership, change management, teambuilding and other topics from Organizational Behavior and putting the learnt skills into practice in the field. The field in this case is a 6- or 8-man crew of a high performance sailing yacht on high seas.
In Sailing, no two waves are the same, the wind is your motor, for ever changing directions and force. As an individual or as a team, how do you handle yourself in a storm, but also in a quiet fase? Hoz do you stay focused mentally? It’s not about saying what you can do, but about doing what you said you would do. It’s not about your intentions but about results. The pain of a loss as driving personal development.
