COURSE DESCRIPTION

Programming Serious Games with the Android Platform

Our Android development course is focused on Serious Games. These are intended to solve problems by rewarding users with memorable and fun experiences. The course content will cover the concept (Game Design) as well as the Technology (Android) without forgetting Aesthetics and the necessary Story that always needs to be told inside our interactive apps. Starting with concept and design and ending with the implementation. Pure “Learning by Doing”.

The course will start with a general overview of the existing technologies plus an assessment on why to use Android as a true and realistic platform to use for development. We will provide everything you need to get up and running with the Android SDK so you can build your own Serious Games with confidence.

You´ll gain a comprehensive knowledge in Android development techniques and concepts, plus hands-on practice on how to use the major tools and APIs in the Android SDK, and how this all fits together.
